Hey fresh-faced people!

What a week to re-start blogging again aye? I had full intentions to start doing it a bit more frequently but then this big cloud came over me and that was that. The big cloud was less a cloud and more a new job ;) Currently, I relief teach as well as instruct group fitness classes- both of which I absolutely love. At 22 years of age I reached a career goal of mine, to become a Group Fitness Manager!

There was a situation at a gym that had no GFM and I formulated a role description and KPIs and put the idea forward to them. Low and behold it worked! Basically since last Thursday, post meeting, I have been swamped with organising things: fills, timetabling, launches, files and documents, surveys and procedures/protocols etc. It has been full on (few squirts of rescue remedy here and there have helped) but I’m loving it so far- and it will subside as time goes on and things get organised.

Apart from that my have just been spent working, exercising, eating and trying to spend as much quality time with my man as possible. I hate having to spend our nights doing all these last minute things and need to make a conscious effort to stop!

Note to self: Black sheets- never again. This is our super pillow. My partner wanted a thicker pillow so I bought one and it wasn’t hard enough so we did 2 pillows, 1 pillowcase. Genius.

Why I Went and What’s Up Now?

Well I’m thinking I wanna come back for a bit, or maybe forever..who knows?

I left for a while there because I felt it was all too much and at that stage in my life I had too much going on and the anxiety of it having to post was no good for me- I wanted to get more readers, I wanted to make something of this little blog but it stopped becoming something I loved to do to something I felt I had to do.

But for a month or so now I’ve wanted to come back but things will be a bit different- I won’t be posting daily, there will be little consistency to my posting but rather I’m hoping that the lack of deadlines and scheduling will mean I’ll blog here and there throughout the week, and actually enjoy doing it!

So let’s fast forward to now with some fast facts:

Still engaged (and in love) and loving planning the wedding (did a DIY ring clean the other day- was awesome)



Still lifting & stepping (and attacking and etc)



Still living in our townhouse that we own- (and I’ve added some extra pieces to the house which I’m loving)

My little dot dot is still as cute as ever


I am currently working as a group fitness instructor (no time for PTing) and a primary school teacher (relief work fits in perfectly to my life). I am obsessed with buying all the school things haha- tax return kay guys ;)


Still dealing with the eating issues here and there- I’m still seeing a therapist for my anxiety and body/food related issues but I am still in a much better place than I once was. But yeh, still occasionally use food to deal with anxiety issues (however on a smaller scale than I once was).

I’m still reading blogs! But not commenting, I just felt like I couldn’t comment if I wasn’t blogging myself…haha
