I hope you’re not getting tired of all these recap posts, but with my hectic work week (school + classes + own workouts + bf + dinners etc) sometimes I feel like going all ‘dear diary’ instead of typing up more time-consuming posts- I’d rather pop in and say hey than nothing at all. But I’m trying and week 2 was much easier for me (mentally and physically) than week 1.
To veer away from all the serious I’m actually going to get dressed up tonight, eat at a restaurant and do something- a change from my usual chillaxed Saturday nights of late. I do love them, but I also love a change- gives you something to look forward to each weekend.
My boyfriend was given Comedy Festival tickets from his parents for his 21st and tonight the show is on at the Brisbane Powerhouse.

It’s an 8pm start, which means I’ll have to rush home after work and get ready so we can grab a delicious bite at Wagaya. It’s been a while simply because I’ve had no energy to get dressed and head all the way into the Valley lately- but since we will already be out that way (and appropriately dressed!) we thought why not.
That’s basically my Saturday (seriously should have considered getting Saturdays off when I’m working Mon- Fri!) and Sunday will be based on an early morning workout (Grit Strength & BodyAttack- which I’ll be teaching), grocery shopping, Protein Powder Pancakes (addict), food prepping and a little relaxing here and there.
I’ll make sure to document it all to share with you Sunday night- a nice little recap before the working week starts (again).
Ps. Can you believe I will be doing to Europe in 6 weeks! Oh how the time has flied.
- What’s in store for your weekend?
- Have you ever been to a Comedy show before?
- Do you prefer stay-in or go-out weekends?
