Hey! Guess what- it’s Monday and I don’t find myself in a down-in-the-dumps mood as I have the past few Mondays. Hooray!
Not sure if I’ve mentioned this yet but I’ve given up my Monday 5:45am BodyStep and it made all the difference with those extra (almost) two hours sleep- plus my shins weren’t achy for the next BS class at 9:20am. Amidst my odd happy-Monday mood I’ve been pretty productive. But first, check out my weekend…
There were a few bumps along the way but Valentine’s Night was spent with my love at Mt Cootha Cafe Kuta!
Since my mum is a divorcee I thought it’d be nice to give her some extra loving too…in the form of the below BEAUTIFUL tulips and a couple of her fave small choccy bars
Oh plus I picked up some flax seeds and psyllium husk at the same time. I’ve successfully made my first flax egg…but yet to find a use for the other package.
I also tweeted about this bowl of egg white oats- which I loved! But think I need to get a bit more flavour in them…can’t wait to try out ideas!
More food (duh) when we went to the shops and I needed a morning tea snack to tide me over before lunch…dun dun dundun…this double chocolate chunk Quest Bar is my current fave. Oh my so good. I immediately bought a box (as well as another coconut cashew- to mix it up) on iHerb!
Then lunch came later- Sumo Salad style (spinach, lettuce, 1 boiled egg, chicken, bean sprouts, tomato & cucumber
and then…dinner later that night. An eggplant curry on top of some mushrooms (the best) and topped with parmy cheese.
And back to today- I managed to cram about 6 new tracks into my BS mix today and luckily didn’t have any stuff ups (atleast that anyone knew about ha), then it was grocery time, followed by a delivery..
that I just CAN’T wait to share with you! And I made a humugosaur batch of pasta for the bf’s work lunches this week and as he always requests more of my ultimate Banana Bread.
