G’day! (stereotypical Aussie ha, don’t think I’ve ever legit said it though).
How are we? I’m surprisingly chipper considering all things! Must be the BIG weekend I’ve got coming up SQUEAL!
So my day started like this…
No that is not the sun it’s my car lights- it was still pitch black
and I woke up at 4:55am- ludicrous right? Things I do for my passion ha. I guess no one else got the memo…you know, that it’s ultra-cool to work out when it’s still dark although it’s morning. It was a small class and although we all worked hard and I enjoyed it, the motivation in numbers definitely came in to play- I really had to mentally switch on.
I came home and I was so hyped from BodyAttack there was no way I was going back to sleep. So I tried to get a head start on the day, until breakfast time came round and I was off to my next class- BodyStep.
My knee is doing okay. I find it’s (obviously) worse after exercising and while I’m icing it. However, it must get the swelling down because it’s much better after that, and heat packing it only adds to the pain relief. Oh and foam rolling- I’ve done it twice (small sessions) and find I’m more likely to do multiple mini roll sessions rather than a one long sess.
So that’s two classes down and another BodyStep to go. I’ve also managed to train my mum in weights- she is getting stronger. LOVE IT! Plus I’ve completed more lesson plans and uni stuff. Oh and the ever important blog reading too.
It’s delicious Moussaka for dinner tonight so I better get on that- BIG note to self: take a decent picture. Moussaka is quickly becoming one of my fave dinners. [When I said it twice quickly it reminded me of Mufasa rom the Lion King- see below @ 55 seconds!]
