No, it has nothing to do with food actually. And everything to do with my brand-spanking new IPhone 5!
The past 24 hours have seen us come closer, and I’ve enjoyed playing around with this little beauty. I thought I’d give a brief review on it for those of you who are umming and ahhing about getting one.
I really love the look- I chose the white for the first time ever and I’m really glad I did. The white really rocks the pink case and looks pretty snazzy for something different. It’s thinner and longer than it’s sisters the 4 and 4S, and I am actually indifferent to the size. Being thin is good because it’ll slip into tight jean pockets easier Haha… okay so not ready for jokes yet guys. But the bf did point out that the longer length might be a bit annoying when you have short pockets. That won’t be a problem for me because my phone stays in my hand or handbag generally. I don’t really dig the bulky phone-in-the-pocket look Plus too many things could go wrong…
The software itself I’ve actually already used on my Iphone 4- because I was super technological and updated it basically straight away. The Do not Disturb feature is one that particularly stands out to me. It seems pretty nifty to use when I plug my phone in to teach Body Step, instead of having to put it on aeroplane mode. But I’d want to learn a little more about it beforehand- just incase it still rings or something. I don’t want to be unprofessional now haha.
There’s still so many other features that I need to become aware of and use. One in particular I’m loving is Siri! Now I know they had this on the IPhone 4S, but I only ever had a 4, so this is completely new to me. Basically all you do is click the home key to take you to Siri and speak into the microphone… and she replies! The bf and I were having a whole lot of fun with it last night. So that escalated pretty quickly…Haha it’s a fun feature! If you have a 4S or 5, I’d definitely try it out. In all serious it’s actually pretty hand to have also. You can ask it to place calls, search the web, send text messages, flirt a little, offer compliments (ha!) as well as many other things.
My overall thought- I’d get it! But then again I am (I will admit) someone who sometimes likes to have the latest things. You could always hold off for the 6? But really what’s the point. There’s always a newer and better thing around the corner. If you want it- get it. If you’re contract needs to be updated- DEFS get it. The bf says he is not interested, but I can tell he is totally jealous. I see him getting one sooner than later
Anyways, enough technological talk- let’s talk about food and exercise. Today I did a double of Body Step and Body Pump, and had some strawberry protein slice (huge thanks to the bf for whipping it up for while I was at work) all before heading to work. Work’s food was the same as usual. I had this breakfast and this lunch. And they were as delicious as usual too. Actually, scratch that I think the oats were better than normal I’ve also done some uni assignment work and written up lesson plans for my last two weeks of science- it was tough to do them on such a beautiful (SUPER) hot day (high 30′s people), but let’s just say I didn’t give up.
I’m hoping to have some date night fun with the bf tonight but we’ll see what happens.
